Erik performs his original music under the moniker of ‘The
Erik Kramer Band’. The band features Melina Harris,
Sean Lally, and a network of premier musicians to put
together an all star band for each show. The music is a
fusion of psychedelic, folk, funk, world music, rock n' roll,
and soul led as if it were a jazz combo.
Another original music project‘ ‘Rosemeat’, features the
songs of Melina Harris as well as some of Erik’s.
Erik is also a member of several bands, and
performs as a session player and sideman
with many other artists. Some of the bands
that he is currently performing with are
‘Uprooted’ (formerly known as ‘Rusted
Root’), ‘Darlingtyn’, ‘Luke & the Ego’,
Taylor Kelly, ‘Jacopo and the Late Saints’,
and ‘Townstreet Criers’.
Some of his former bands include ‘Morning
Martyrs’, ‘Endangered Speeches’, ‘The Blind
Woods’, ‘Sun Cut Flat’, and ‘Gracie Curran
and the High Faultin’ Band’.
Erik received his initial music training at the Philadelphia
Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Arts. He had the honor of
attending the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts,
and is an award winning honors graduate of the Berklee
College of Music.
